Fish Unlimited Guide Service, LLC offers day and night Blue Catfish Charters year round and Shad Fishing in the Spring.

Overview

Day trips run from September through May, while night trips run from June through September, seven days a week.

Five and 12 hour catfishing trips are also available.

Captain Chuck also fishes for shad in the Spring up river near Richmond. The James River is also a great place to see Atlantic sturgeons breach the water.

The boat can accommodate up to six anglers and children are always welcome, in fact children 12 and under are always free. Boats are also available for bigger parties.

Fish Unlimited Guide Service, LLC catches and releases all fish ten pounds and over after taking a photo of your catch. Any blue cat 30 pounds and over or 38 inches and over qualifies as a citation and can be registered for the Virginia Angler Recognition Program through the Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries.

Important Notes

  • What to Bring:

    All you need to bring is your lunch, drinks, camera or video recorder, sunglasses and sunscreen if necessary. Be sure to bring clothing according to weather conditions.

  • Fishing License:

    You must also have a Virginia Freshwater Fishing License. Fish Unlimited Guide Service is able to furnish Fishing Licenses if you do not have one.

  • Trips Leave From:

  • Safety Considerations:

    Fish Unlimited Guide Service, LLC is a professional full service, full time catfishing guide service.  As such the overall safety of his guests allows the Captain to cancel a charter at anytime due to weather and water conditions.
